Eddie, as you know I had been long NMGC for a while until Friday.

Re << Wall Street loves a turn around story>>

No way! Once a stock disappoints, like NMGC has, it becomes a "show me" stock. Street will not like NMGC till it proves itself on the revenue and earnings. Management can blow all the horn it has about its potential, but if you disappoint once, the street will not care until you show it on the balance sheet.

Re <<Getting rid of DVD was smart.>>

Then it must have been really stupid for them to spend valuable time and money on it. Don't you think they should have known?

Re <<Neomagic still has some good technology.>>

The only technology they have is the embedded DRAM. It is obvious that embedded DRAM will not scale cheaply enough to perform the desired performance at the right price. We were told otherwise but that was just lies! NMGC has only had one family of product that generated any revenues and profit, now that family is dying fast with nothing in sight to replace it. It's death is a done deal. Very sad!

Re << According to Yahoo posters, Institutions were buying all the shares that us small fry were selling.>>

I don't believe that for one second. NMGC has gone through significant distribution, I find it hard to imagine any scenario where NMGC will move higher going forward.

Re <<I just could not believe that anyone could be so NEGATIVE about a company>>

I agree. But he had to be that negative, since there was nothing positive to say. The companies' sole product is outdated and no one wants its replacement. My guess is that in 2 quarters, revenue will be close to zero and company should report significant losses.

I am so mad at how this whole thing unfolded. What happened to all the interested OEM's on the NMG6 and the DVD? Perhaps they were never interested and we were lied to! What happened to manufacturing issues being solved? Now we here that yield are still very poor and Infineon may never produce any deliverable product for NMGC.

NMGC is junk, take your losses, lick your wounds and move on! You will feel much better, I know I do.
