I am sure to some extent you are correct that if women were in more responsible positions, they would not resort to such vicious tactics, but that sounds overly simplistic and matronizing (opposite of patronizing)
but in my experience that is an irresponsible copout rationalizing piece of bullshit
my last VP at departed employer was an insecure abusive vicious woman... she already had her position, yet continued to ruin a few careers, destroy my forecasting group's function (since she didnt understand it), alienate every manager she came into contact with, and preside over an organization motivated more by fear of retribution than desire to excell

my objection is the levels of aggression, control, ambition, hostility, and ugliness I see in northern women
my problem is that northern women cannot seem to pursue equanimity as well as career goals without losing their femininity
I maintain 80% of northern women are desparately seeking testicles, and resent their female gender... they have largely concluded that femininity equates to weakness, submission, and dependence... wrong, wrong, wrong... I have actually heard many women tell me in defense that if they dont abuse, act nasty, behave as if chip on shoulder, then they will be viewed by men as weak... biggest crock of shit I ever heard
