I know this sounds nuts, but I felt if I did not own any of JDSU and some of the other suppliers, I would not pay as much attention to the sector Ciena was in and therefore would not be current in the fiber optics sector. So I was just lucky. Besides, there were still some suppliers (like ETEK) I never got around to buying before they got taken out with the consolidation in the industry....(one of the drawbacks of doing or intending to do too much DD...lol)
