<<Take heart! H. Dent defines the baby boom as having begun in 1936.>>

lurqer: I just recently heard an audio program -- it was Harry Dent's 'Roaring 2000s'....It sure made the road trip go by quickly. As I recall he feels that the next 6-8 years will be a unique boom period in the market (due to the combination of the internet revolution and the baby boomers who are still aggressively investing large sums of money). It does seem wise to look at how economic trends are influenced by demographic and technological trends. IMO, the next decade will continue to provide tremendous investing opportunities. Yet, we will have more turbulence than in the past -- information flows freely and individuals and Funds seem to be moving in and out of stocks much more than they used to. We just need to strap in a little tighter and enjoy the ride during first decade of this new millenium...!! Thanks for sharing.

I'm going back into the lurking mode <G>....

Best Regards,

Scott
