It's near the Isthmus, but up in the high-country. It's a great little town, and if y'all are interested in shopping (does a fish like water?? <g>), you will find several very neat little shops there. My wife and I go there every time we visit Maui. In fact, we had our wedding rings made by a goldsmith/artist that lives there. It's definitely worth the drive. mapquest.com -Joe
