hi israel,

if it's just two machines you wish to link together, you can use an rj45 crossover cable. you'll need a total of three ethernet adapter cards (nics). two will go in the machine that is currently connected to asdl (host). the third goes in the other machine (client). use the crossover cable to connect the two nics. info on adding nics is available here
