sorry for the late response, no i don't trust Mytrade as far as I can spit to trade BB stocks...I may buy a couple of BB stocks a month using them but only as a position trade
...and only if Iknow the stock is going to go higher, LOL. much higher!:)
I have seen orders on BB's sit for 5-10-15mins at a time
using MyTrade, orders routed to HRZG...and life is just to short to put up with that cr@p. . ;-(
So what is going to happen to you if you get caught in a squeeze, going the wrong way?
And you are on a BB and you are using MyTrade? I shudder to think of it!
And I have had enough nightmares using MyTrade just trying to trade NASD, let alone to add to the misery.
so I avoid BB trading totally unless they are a for a long hold.
In fairness, and from personal standpoint, MyTrade performed decently for the first time
in months, last week. A credit to them finally spending some time and money on the software, and not on advertising.
It even remembered my password each time I logged on !
Only got timed out once the whole week, when it used to happpened once or twice daily on bad weeks, always at the close of the day when you needed them the most!...It was even possible to trade IPO's or other fast moving issues without MyTrade totally freezing up and becoming totally usueless tot the point of closing application and rebooting. It still "freezes" up a little ,
and ----->THAT, is totally unacceptable.
----->If they don't entirely fix that problem in the trading cock-pit...i shall be moving my acct in a month, market conditions to determine.
* If MyTrade had performed 1/2 as well in the past four months, as "professionally" as they advertised, I would never have posted so much on this board.
But
To give credit where credit is due , this last week , for once, they lived
somewhat up to the kind of trading platform, they have alluded to .
They are quite willing to improve and be of help, but
that is only really on issues of use of the software
and other sundries...the true test of their success, is
whether they can maintain the level of performance that was achieved this past week..... The nightmare of MyTrade crashes in the past, and other issues leaves me with very little confidence in them....be nice to see 2 weeks in a row of good performance, out of months of BS, start to be a new trend with them.

PS: I did try closing the streaming quote window and other
level II windows during a trade of an IPO and it seemed to really help....thanks JD. :-) |
