Valueman: Actually not, just read the press release and it is written in that style of grey.

To quote:
"Purchase of infrastructure equipment lays foundation for launch of 'third generation' CDMA digital features and services"

Just a foundation. It the goes on about expanding the network, before we come across this:

"This new equipment paves the way for the launch of new digital features and services enabled through third-generation CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) technology."
and this:
"The purchase agreement also marks the first step in PrimeCo's migration toward the implementation of the next generation of CDMA technology, according to Grindstaff."

Both of which fall short of announcing 3G infra, bit like the Nokia release on the same day as Ericsson's. The phrase "It can" can be seen, which is not "it is".

Yes I am being a little pedantic (although accurate), but then it is Sunday and I am in the office! Bloody CeBIT stuff to do, very annoying as it is for an industry forum (and they are a real pain when it comes to getting anything "done" as you are dealing with 27 members! -Most big suppliers - more on that another time).

All the best,
M
