Outstanding post. I believe you have captured the essence of why the FTC trustbusters can't touch Intel. Microsoft???...well, now that's a different story.

This is one reason why I believe Intel has superior management and strategies when compared to MSFT. Maybe it's a question of maturity and wisdom, versus MSFT's brash and bravado. I can't quite put my finger on it.

There seems to be such an incredible depth and richness to INTC's corporate strategy. Everything incredibly well thought out. Their Internet strategy is like a symphony that just keeps getting better the longer that you listen to it. I am sure that it will reveal many beautiful surprises before the music is over.
