>>Had Ford won there would have been no Reagan revolution...<<

Doltan!, in your system of polemics, anyone who makes an error is "very stupid." Will you be a gentleman, and now apply this term to yourself?

Why, if Ford had won in 1976, would there have been no Reagan revolution beginning in 1980? Can you tell us why Reagan could not have run and won in 1980 if Ford had won in 1976?

The only explanation I can come up with is that you believe that an incumbent Ford would have won re-election in 1980.

Of course, a genius like you knows that Ford could not have run again in 1980: The 22nd Amendment, ratified in 1951, says that if someone other than the person
elected to the presidency serves as president for more than two years of the elected person's term, the 'new' president can run for only one term of his or
her own because of the two-term limitation of the amendment.

See, I do not adopt your policy of Clintonesque trickery; I am even trying to help you dig your way out of the "very stupid" group in which you may now belong by dint of your apparently nonsensical statement.
