BTW- until recently it was easy to guestimate how many accounts there were at ET since they numbered them consecutively...Near end of December the account numbers were around 1400-0000 (i.e., 1,400,000 accts).
Since around the beginning of the year they changed the scheme to 4000-0000.... A recent account a friend opened was numbered 4612-xxxx...

2 observations---
1. ET doesnot want to make it easy to figure out how many accts they have.

2. Could there have been 600,000 new accts opened since Jan 1 2000...Could so many have been opened in so short a time??

If you opened a new acct around January 1st, please report the first 4 digits of your acct number ... Thanks
