CNN Headline news just had a story on margin. 430 BILLION dollars margined in the market. I don't play shorts, but this fact is disturbing. Margin has increased as time wears on making a speculative bubble a reality. I play the strongest stocks in the sectors. I think the pain will be felt by those who invest in the smaller businesses. If the selling hits, it will hit these stocks the hardest. Quality Internet stocks will survive, the Internet is not going anywhere. For those that are playing a risky game with so/so stocks on margin, I suggest you rethink your portfolio before the summer tech doldrums hit.
