The following is an excerpt from Pharmaceutical Care Practice, the leading pharmaceutical care text that was published by McGraw-Hill in 1998

Chapter 5 page 198.

Computerized pharmaceutical care documentation system now marketed worldwide as the Assurance Coordinated Pharmaceutical Care System. This computerized documentation system is based on the practice of pharmaceutical care as described in this text and is designed to assist pharmaceutical care practitioners to provide care for many patients over time. The Health Outcomes Management, Inc. computer support system is presently available in DOS and Windows format and is used by pharmacists in several countries as well as to teach pharmacy students in the Pharmaceutical Care Teaching Laboratory at the University of Minnesota. In addition, all of the patient data analyses presented in this text were made possible because of this software.

They have sold thousands of copies of this book, it was the top selling McGraw-Hill Medical Textbook for several quarters.

Their next book is due out later this year and it might even include HOMI software that can be used free for thirty days?.
