Actually I believe that none of the smaller glitzy internet storefronts have a chance. If big Amazon once shows a profit I stand corrected but in that heavy competitive sector there is no space for smaller outfits and no outstanding advantage.

In the meantime the smaller players will continue to burn down their IPO cash.... while AMZN will continue to feed the markets via convertible debt.

What did CPQ do with shopping.com? They write it off...? No looks like they bundled it together with Altavisa and sold it to CMGI...
