I think the proportion of depressives and anxiacs is now about 30% for elderly people, supposedly SSRI takers. I think depression its higher than that in teenagers. I think most kids (except CW, Ammo, Ben, and Nick [Threadrats?]) really need anxiolytic pills desperately. The proportion of kids on drugs in pretty high and I think these are the wrong drugs. I would like to start a program where the elderly trade Paxil, Zoloft, and Prozac to teenagers in exchange for pot, cocaine, speed, chrystal meth, ecstasy, opiates. The kids would relax and clear up many anxieties. The old folks would see in their next hit some meaning for life. |
