O/T - No, of course not, but the way one speaks matters. IF you combined Clinton's native intelligence and gift for speaking and getting across a straight thought (no one will deny him that) WITH character and courage of conviction and self-denial and the right politics, now there's a recipe for a great President. As it is, if Dan Quayle gets an F (and he does) then Bush gets a C minus in my grade book. If I'm really feeling generous I might give him a straight "gentleman's C" -- just like he got at Yale. I take issue with that grade inflation so rampant among "Christian conservatives" who can't quite see over the edge of their ideological straightjackets enough to see that Shrubbie is just not Presidential material. Someone on this or another thread equated Bush with Ronald Reagan. Bush is nowhere NEAR being in Reagan's league as a national politician. Now THAT's grade inflation!
