Shades of the X-Files

Call me a conspiracy theorist, but for what it's worth, here is my opinion.

The Russian "meanies" are gone. And Sadaam Hussein isn't putting up that much of a fight. So now with peace in the world and the internet bringing people even closer together, how does the establishment make its money????.

Before dismissing my opinion as being extremist and ridiculous, I simply ask you to think about it. There is no need for $billion tanks and $10,000 toilet seats for nuclear submarines. Our leaders have us believe that inflation is the new enemy. With the technologies of robotics and computers leading to greater productivity with fewer employees, and the "shopping-via-the-internet" craze bringing prices down because of lower overhead, does anyone here really believe inflation to be a problem??

I, for one, do not see inflation anywhere (except for price of gas). Rather, I see this constant fear that we are subjected to as simply being manipulative scare tactics which allow the establishment the opportunity to profit greatly from the panic selling which occurs every time the word "inflation" is uttered.

Would anyone here really take their money out of the markets and invest in bonds because the yield is now 6.5%??? No, I didn't think so.
