Who was C.S.? Your older brother? As I remember he wrote children's stories and mysteries along with dime-store theology. A childish mind in my opinion. Any one who thinks every one seeks the same thing in life is a fool. I don't belief in spirituality, IMO it is just a delusion that there is anything other than matter and energy. People troubled by spiritual voids are IMHO insane and I don't want to waste my time with them unless they want therapy. I have read all of Jesus's purported words with a perceptive and open mind. I do not believe that Jesus ever unequivocally said he was god, although he frequently claimed to be Mesach. In one passage, which no doubt you know, Jesus said "Why do you call me good? No one but God is good." What in the name of God do you think Jesus meant by that? When you with your open mind give me a clear and credible explanation, I'll consider further. You are wasting your time trying to convert me to your superstition.
