Old Ladies - the gurus of Ginza When I was buying my Softbank in Nikko Salomon Smith Barney there were 2 old ladies giggling because Softbank just hit 19,000 YEN. Then they took a number and got in line. I don't know whether they bought more or sold - but it had certainly hit the mass market in Japan. Since they were in before me I thought I should hire them as my investment advisors. I didn't and wonder whether I missed a great opportunity. Those 2 were a classic - I'd listen to them anytime.
