ms. kath and i drove back from our sailing friend's party in santa fe last night (saturday) on the turquoise trail (N. HWY 14) through madrid and golden. i was listening to lucinda on the cd as kath sang along. i pulled off the road far from the city lights and we got out to look at the sky. the full moon had a big ring of light around it from the high thin cirrus. awesome. she asked, "do you love her more than me?" i said said in jest, "honey, the only reason she turns me on is because she reminds me of you." she gave me a big ol' wet kiss and said, "mr. polvie, you are the most loving man in the world and even though you make these shitty jokes, i thank god for every moment that i get to spend with you alone." i got weak in the knees and fell in love with her again for the 96 godzillionth time. i turned off lucinda and began playing the eddi reader cd. god she's beautiful. kath sang harmony as we drove on through the midnight to albuquerque. i get to love every woman on the planet and they all reside in my baby kathleen. WoW! what a woman. what a trip. -polvie
