It happens now and again when you hold options...Rather than selling at market when I entered my sales orders on Friday, when AMD was at $43.50, I tried to clip an additional 1/4 point...With 50/50 hindsight, that was a costly mistake to try to beat the market on expiry date...Lesson learned...Won't happen twice! (probably save me from making the same mistake at a later time when even more is at stake...i.e there is always an upside to painful mistakes!)
