ms. kath and i drove back from our sailing friend's party in santa fe last night (saturday) on the turquoise trail (N. HWY 14) through madrid and golden. i was listening to lucinda on the cd as kath sang along. i pulled off the road far from the city lights and we got out to look at the sky. the full moon had a big ring of light around it from the high thin cirrus. awesome. Geez polvie. I know exactly the road you were on. Madrid is some town, isn't it? Old mining town, used to be very wild west, now it has some funky artisans as well...noting like the New Mexico sky at night...and what a romantic moment. Sigh. How can you have a sailing friend in Santa Fe, tho? Does he sail in the little stream in town? LOL.
