While I'm posting to this thread today, I thought I should clarify something that seems to be a prevalent misunderstanding: The site gets a LOT of new posts every day. We DO NOT read all of the posts. In fact, we read very few. Mostly ones that are brought to our attention, but occasionally we'll bookmark specific threads and try to keep up. I feel it necessary to bring this up because we get a lot of email and PM's that say things like "I can't believe you're allowing this" or "Since you're allowing this post to stay up, I guess I can....", etc. One person has even been inundating me lately with statements that we allow death threats to be posted here (we don't) but refuses to cite the specific posts, while couching the whole message in verbiage that seems to be based on an assumption that if it's written here, I've read it. We generally (99.9% of the time) are not aware of any post or situation prior to it being brought to our attention. If you see a post you believe violates the Terms of Use, please bring it to our attention immediately, and please, please, please include the URL. Don't assume we've already seen it, because we probably haven't. Regards, SI Admin (Bob)
