*The WAP industry forum web site, wapforum.org, has a FAQ that makes some good points for why WAP is needed, beyond the limitations of small display size.*

I have made up my mind on the viability of WAP after a 2 month plus research project. As I mentioned before, you really ought to have it fixed in your mind exactly why you own WAP related companies . . . I may have overlooked something, but for the time being I have stricken WAP from my interests. I am not saying WAP companies will not be profitable, but I am saying the "valuations" (if you can call them that) are too nutty for consideration even if the technology were to succeed. WAP is nothing more than a temporary bridge while the rest of the folks out there perfect their roads around it.

I know I sound harsh, but folks need to know what they are getting themselves into. Sounds to me like there is complacency over on the thread you mentioned. As such, I will not waste my breath arguing. I merely want folks to understand the risks they are facing.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
