Y, want to tell you how emotions and TA are at constant war with each other...Example: AZTC TA says this stock is going higher 1)Long-term head and shoulder bottom, two left shoulders, two right shoulders, 6 month target 11-12... 2)Cup and handle 4 by 7 giving target of 10 3)bottoming formation of 5 by 7 giving target of 9.00 4)small ascending triangle 5 by 6 giving target of 7.00 5)ADX moving up nicely in early 20's showing birth of trend 6)Stock moving up in huge down market 7)block buys near 7.00 and a marketmaker making sure the stock doesn't move too quickly by keeping AZTC under 7.00.. All that is TA...Now the emotional Mark "Heh Mark, the entire market looks weak, the NASDAQ is tanking, you are in a bear market, you have profits, take them home, before they take this one back to 6.00!" Even though if I was making a life decision and weighted the columns as to which way I should go,(here TA clearly wins!!!), the human part of us invariably goes with the emotional call....A great trader fights those emotions and follows his disciplines....
