Betamax ... barely got out of the chute -- I've got one running now. But I always was an early adopter. When Video renters dropped Betas I was able to buy several hundred really filthy pornographic tapes for $1 each. They are so obscene that I burn each one after watching it several times to determine that it has no redeeming social, artistic, or scientific content. Can't run the risk of print-through on my bird observations.
