Thanks for the transcript! Made great reading; Noticed couple of things, though:

-3100 chip ready in April with a ramping thru the summer<br>
-Snaptrack to get into 3100 ASAP

This should probably read MSM3300. The 3100 ASIC is already shipping.

IJ- "Chipset won't support WAP"

Don't think this is a chipset issue. The software that runs on the MSMs supports data services (full RLP/PPP/IP/UDP or TCP stack) and hence WAP over it, if a phone manufacturer chooses to do so.

-"Forward, DoCoMo will rollout CDMA" chart w/est of 10M subs by 12-00

Not sure at all of this comment. NTT DoCoMo is strictly entrenched in PDC at the moment, struggling hard to meet self imposed W-CDMA rollout plans for (like) mid-2001. Have not heard of cdmaOne or cdma2000 adoption plans by DoCoMo. Does anybody have comments?

Regards,
SRoy
