The link was posted on the MSFT thread... when I followed the internal link in that article to the CPQ press release and found the following -

"The extraordinary performance benchmarks achieved today are a direct result of the Compaq/Microsoft Frontline Partnership, which is focused on the goal of providing customers with the most stable and reliable computing platforms available in the market today," said Bill Gates, Microsoft's chief software architect. "These results represent the first in a series of significant innovations on the part of Microsoft and Compaq, and even the largest-commerce customers should feel confident that no matter how quickly they grow, they will always be able to benefit from the time-to-market and cost of ownership advantages of our platform."


I wonder what the rest of the innovations will look like? That sentence intrigued me...
