In any killing the actual modes of killing, i.e. ligature techniques, areas of blows, type of knife, exact fetish modes of body disposal are always kept secret within law enforcement agencies and even to the case investigators. There is never any public dispersal of these identifying evidence matters as they constitute vital matters that serve to disqualify phony confessions and identify true killers in interrogations.

There are no normal killings where the killers are not positively known. Where suspects may be at large, or not identified, law enforcement always withold certain information for their own purposes.
