Now, you have raised the precious metal argument.

Well, paper by itself of course is not precious, but the US dollar is, as it can be minted only by the Federal Reserve Board and may not be duplicated at ease.

So there goes your precious metal argument.

Now, when I went to school, these were taught in high school economics classes. Did you drop out or what?
