MOMO's <And the moment it sours, bail. . . there will be plenty more to come>

Good advice in todays market, where every stock seems to trade neurotic.

But sometimes I forget to keep an eye on something after I sold and miss round 2.

What is your feeling when the Island sellers just keep throwing up more shares at a given price to hold it. I generally get disturbed when I see this. (It is hard to jump out of my basement window though!) Do MM's and ECN's also feed shares through ISLAND?

Where did you learn about the "BLACK Background"? I have often wondered about the Qcharts T&S chart showing these during regular trading hours.

It truly gets tiring to see all the fake bids and asks that one sees anymore on LII and ISLAND. I saw some stocks last week that went from 20000+ on the ask to 500 in 1-2 minutes as they all backed away in unison. I guess that is what the SEC means by orderly market making.

As you mentioned in DT the other day, there needs to be a consumer group organized to further level the playing field for the average investor. With the computing power that exists now, how hard could it be to list each sale for what it truly is. Short Sell, Buy to cover, buy, or sell. I'm afraid if I kept my company books the way the MM's keep theirs the taxing authorities would be all over me. I would be willing to volunteer some lobbying effort or web page construction to form an email campaign to our congressmen.

NETP & IDTC, I found some interesting news, it seems Microsoft sent their wingtips to IDTC hq to try and get in on the bidding war. Tuesday could be interesting if we get a bounce in the indexes by midmorning.

Also read a story on LPTHA somewhere. With all the talking heads on CNBC today that were talking up JDSU we may just see some more interest in LPTHA this week.
