This weekend, I saw a program on Tungsten
buckshot, as used in a shotgun. It seemed that
the tungsten buckshot went farther, and penetrated a
steel plate on the first pass, whereas it took the
standard buckshot several passes, before they would actually
go through the plate. The point was made that the tungsten
product went farther and was much stronger than standard
lead shot, but was slightly more expensive.
