LiveStage Pro with QT 4.1 features to arrive early by Dennis Sellers, dsellers@maccentral.com February 22, 2000, 7:00 am ET According to sources, Totally Hip is ahead of schedule on the QuickTime 4.1 enabled version of LiveStage Professional 2 and recently announced new LiveSlideShow QuickTime enabled Web slide show product. Plus, MacCentral has learned that there's a completely new LiveStage Professional 3 in development. This product hasn't been announced or even scheduled for release until next year. The new update version of LS Pro 2.1 that will include many, if not all, of Apple's recently introduced QuickTime 4.1 features such as "movie within a movie" and new e-commerce capabilities, our sources say. Expect to see this new version released to customers early this spring. LiveStage Professional 3 -- code named "Barracuda" -- should include several new QuickTime authoring features, enhancements, and a wish list of improvements requested by current LS Pro developers. We'll keep you posted.
