With the first SiS630 boards showing up, it might be worthwhile to take another look at Timna'a competition:

With concurrent dual video out, the system will support realtime video editing and becomes the new "home movie" center (Apple is promoting this computer use lately).

The video supports AGP4x 1920x1200 @80MHZ NI and up to 128 meg dedicate video ram or 64meg of shared memory video ram, and SiS has always allowed for the disabling of on-board video.

Integrated 10/100 networking is being promoted for home networking use (businesses won't mind either)

Integrated Hardware DVD decoding.

Integrated 56K modem, cable modem, DSL

Integrated high end 3D sound

Virtual Channel PC133, PC133, VC PC100, PC100 memory support

All of the usual PC 99 ports: Dual Channel Ultra DMA 33/66 IDE, mouse, keyboard, 5 USB ports.

It sells for $35 supporting PIII/Celeron and $29 supporting K6-X - even with all those pins. A version for Athlon is next.
