I am just passing along what I was told. I believe Telenetworks was also going to use the magnetic shield, and it seems like that is what everyone else is trying to do also. I could be wrong... My uncle said something to this extent: "I promise you that anyone working on this technology is just having trouble keeping the signal reliable. That is what is holding everyone back."
