Edwards & Company (Nasdaq: JDEC), a leading provider of e-business software solutions that deliver speed and agility, and LifeMap Communications, Inc., a developer of knowledge-based software applications for human resources today announced that LifeMap Communications' award-winning software, LifeMap(TM), will be integrated with J.D. Edwards' human resources suite, and act as the gateway to J.D. Edwards' self service applications.
The combined products will provide J.D. Edwards' customers with a Web-based information portal that gives employees easy access to information they need to make decisions about the life events that affect their work and personal lives. The integrated knowledge-based solution leverages employee self service (ESS) tools offered in OneWorld(TM) and content developed by LifeMap to promote an environment of employee self-sufficiency.
