BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 22, 2000--

Partnership Allows MessageMedia to Broaden Its Full Suite

of e-Customer Interaction Services

MessageMedia Inc. (Nasdaq:MESG), a leading provider of e-mail marketing and customer relationship management services, announced today that it has established a partnership with NetCreations, Inc., a leading provider of opt-in e-mail list management, brokerage and delivery services.

The deal allows MessageMedia to offer clients the opportunity to send e-mail messages for immediate, targeted delivery to members of a database of more than 6 million 100% Opt-In(R) e-mail addresses managed by NetCreations' PostMasterDirect.com service.

"Teaming with NetCreations expands our service offerings and strengthens our customer acquisition story," said Larry Jones, president and CEO of MessageMedia. With these additional services, we can now take a client from the first step -- prospecting and acquiring customers -- to successful completion and follow-up of a coordinated e-mail marketing campaign."

Under the agreement, MessageMedia will act as the list broker and verify all functions for the client. NetCreations, through its PostMasterDirect.com service, will provide opt-in e-mail address lists for delivering permission-based e-mails for MessageMedia clients.

"This is a great match for us," said Rosalind Resnick, CEO and co-founder of NetCreations. "We get another channel to distribute our industry-leading opt-in lists, and our members get complete e-messaging services with an acknowledged market leader."
