Ted,

Thank you for the information on how to do bolds and italics. So what do you think of the information in Aces article. John seems to be stating (I am paraphrasing heavily) that:

- Athlon is theoretically 42% faster than Willamette at unoptimized X87 floating point calculations.
- Willamette is only 15% faster at floating point calculations when code is optimized for ISSE and 3DNow.
- These calculations are based on a 1.4GHz Willamette and a 1.2GHz Athlon
