Certainly a lot of confusion on one of the all time great Godzillas going on at the moment - AOL. Likewise, confusion and concern surrounds the privacy issues that DoubleClick is confronted with at the moment. The entire Internet industry is at issue with the DoubleClick scenario. It will be interesting to see how that plays out. As the tulip lookers gaze in the garden with disdain, the laws of increasing returns will chug away and probably surprise many as to what some of these Godzilla business models are made up of in terms of mettle.
