It's interesting that you should mention the desks and chairs. Recently, I attended a workshop that was held in a high school classroom. I happened to look around the room and noticed all of these people looking totally miserable... a couple of very large men looking like they were being cut in half by the desk tops on those combination desk/chairs... UGH!!! If I had have been teaching the class, I would have told everyone to just sit on top of their desks... much more comfortable.
