Curtis; Eraseable Programmable Analog Circuits (EPAC) comes in different family. for example, IMP Inc. had just released its second generation in may 20th. However, just like FPGA, EPROM & OTPR, there is One Time Programmable Analog Circuit Chip that can be programmed permenanatly at the factory & is much cheaper & you don't have to have the developement system either. IOMEGA is using the first generation, if you like OPAC (One Time Programmable Analog Circuit), which is designed uniquely for IOMEGA. Infact IOMEGA engineers perhaps designed it & ask IMP Inc. to manufacture for them.

Good TRADING.
