What Iwant to know is, I don't owe (nor does my household owe) one cent in debt--no, I take it back, my daughter has a few thousand in as yet interest-free loans for college. But otherwise we are free and clear in every respect.

So, when the roof falls in, how do we get hurt? Will the gov bail itself and everyone out with massive inflation despite what Greenspan says? Actually even in inflation it's OK to be debt free. But I keep feeling that I am going to be taxed for prudence--just asI was (horrendously) when aforementioned daughter started a private college.
