328 is 6 (inline I believe), and handles nicely. If you liked the 2002, you'll love this car. I don't have one of those. We have a BMW 5 series sedan and a new X5 (BMW's answer to the SUV). It has a 4.4 liter V8 (same as the 540 sedan). 3rd car is a Porsche 996 Cabriolet (and it is so fine I must say). I've also had an M3. Loved it too. The new one is coming out soon, but it might be above your target. LoF
