Check the DOE site. There was a html page giving this info. Given that over 200 new NG fired plants have been announced in the past year I seriously doubt their site is current either. Duke Energy alone ordered 84 new turbines a few weeks ago. Also, there is a big difference between sites/plants and turbines as a site may have one to a half dozen turbines. I think you want a turbine count, not a site count. That's why I have a VERY heavy NG weighting in my portfolio. Good Luck!! I look forward to seeing your results if you are able to make any meaningful headway. I tried doing that last summer, but kept getting swamped with new info and gave up. Very hard to figure out WHEN the turbines are expected to come on line, or even know when delivery is expected by turbine. All I know is that there are so many turbines coming online in the next 2 years that the NG supply demand picture will be totally rewritten.
