Something I've been thinking about.

THQ says earnings will be lower for the first 2 Q's of 2000.

For that to happen:

1) Revenue would need to be down (doubt it for both Q's)
2) Expenses would need to be up (most likely)
3) What are the expenses?

Are they because of the expansion and software development costs for games coming out in the fall/winter or...

is it related to some type of online partnership that will take a byte out of earnings?

Being that ERTS signed a deal with AOL... what might THQI do? Hopefully nothing toooooo expensive. I'm not sure how they would account for such an expense etc..

Just a thought.

Wouldn't a marketing partnership with Yahoo or Microsoft be nice.
