I agree completely.

They can artificially limit the speeds but have lots of headroom to keep decent margins.

AMD seems to be doing everything right.

As long as the onchip at speed cache yields we are home free - dresden or no dresden.

With the socket A AMD will have a sub $40 cost on spitfires.

They can ramp these up to 7M+/qtr just out of fab 25.

Its tough to see an average asp below $100 in that case.

Thunderbird and mustanf will be gravy IMHO.
