Did anyone else notice how many posts on this thread begin with words like "Mike and Thread" "Art and Aus" "To all" "Rocky and thread" followed by a blank line? This often (but not always--I am not sure why) causes the message preview, in the listing of 40 messages under the thread header, to have just those words and nothing of the substance of the message. I seldom see that pattern on the other SI threads that I monitor. Does this bother anyone but me? Could I encourage everyone to habitually begin their messages in a way that will somehow indicate the subject matter in the first dozen or so words?
