I regularly read an IT mag called ComputerWorld. It's my attempt to keep up with the goings-on in tech. Today's issue had a great article/interview with Liz Claiborne's CEO. If ever there were a CEO I wanted to handle the changes occurring today, it's this one. His answers demonstrate the shareholder and capital-allocation focus that I believe either Lou or Warren decided was worth the long-term commitment. I'm happy to have bought recently, and am even more comfortable with the position after reading the article. One can picture Buffett himself saying some of these things:

Oh, and to jhg, RMBS will not last as long as Coca Cola, and it being the 90s only means the bubble is bigger than you are capable of imagining. I'm quite sure you'll be one of the last scrambling to hoard tulip bulbs.

Good investing,
Mike
