I was having dinner in a deli with a friend tonight trying to explain to him why I had sold cc on QCOM. He didn't understand that if I was happy with the strike (as explained in previous post) it was a win-win situation. A guy two tables over smiled conspiratorially at me when we walked to the registers. I said,

"Were you amused by my QUALCOMM dissertation?"
He said, "Yes, as I was sitting here reading about cattle futures trading earlier in the century, and it just seemed appropriate."
He said I seemed to know what I was doing etc etc.
I said, "Do you also trade?"
He said, "Yes, but I use a broker."
"A full service broker, eh?"
"Yes. He taught me everything. But calls and puts, that's where it's at in this market. Why buy stock?"

LOL.
