Agreed, but at least the tobacco companies mfr a product that does harm consumers, even if they are not forced to buy or use it. Maybe after the 19 State AGs lose their case against MSFT on grounds of monopoly status, they will try a genuine "harmed consumer" approach: That buying and using Win95/98/NT/2K can be addictive. I can see it already. MSFT will have to label their software with the statement: "Warning: The DOJ has determined that using this product can be addictive, particularly if you connect to the internet, which this product is very capable of doing".
